If I spend 30 mins on the treadmill and 1 hour in the pool 5 times a week, will I see weight loss?

I understand that swimming is great for toning, but I am keen to get fit and get a little slimmer too as I am currently a size 14 and would love to be back to a 10(UK Sizes). I have excess fat around my middle and I am keen to shed it with working out. My question is If I spend 30 minutes on the treadmill at a brisk pace and then an hour in the pool doing constant lengths 5 times a week, will I see an improvement in both my fitness and weight loss?

Swimming is the BEST exercise for the toning of the body, inside and out. But, a diet has to be in place if you want to see any result. Excess fat around the mid-section should be targeted by doing sit-ups, leg lifts, walking and jogging. If you want to see result, cut anything made with white flour and replace with whole wheat bread, brown rice etc... and drink a lot of water. Stay away from sodas and junk food and you will see a difference.
